The Inhumanoids - Band Bio
After laying in wait, The Inhumanoids are now prepared to let loose the sum of their aggression, in what can only be called Shark Music. This blistering first release by these Toronto based Heavy Rock upstarts combines the fury and raw aesthetic of punk (Dead Kennedys, Bad Religion), the pop inclinations of classic rock (Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy), and the seething passion of early metal (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Anthrax). Having been compared to bands like Bionic, The Illuminati, Tricky Woo, Hellacopters, and Priestess, they aim to pay tribute to their forbearers while defining their voice and taking their place at the Altar of Rock.

The young music veterans, Nestor Chumak (guitar), Scott Hannigan (bass), Noah van der Laan (vocals) and Zack Mykula (drums), travelled to Ottawa to record, engineer and produce their debut with Producer Yogi Granger, over five days in the Summer of 2010. Harnessing the edge and energy of a live show, Shark Music is a dynamic blend of angular, hard-hitting Testosterock with rhythmic nuance, and raw passion suited to Punk, Rock, and Metal crowds alike.

Between signing to Meatlocker Records (Ottawa), playing explosive shows in and outside of Toronto, and recording, mixing and mastering the Shark Music EP (soon available on CD and at CDbaby.com), The Inhumanoids have seen a maelstrom of action that shows no sign of relenting. So keep watch for them, as they are at large, dangerous and on the move. Be at The El Mocambo on November 13, 2010 to experience the onslaught for yourself.
